Preparation and Storage
This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20 degree C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8 degree C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20 degree C.

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.

Related Product Information for anti-CCL3 antibody
Mouse anti Human CCL3 antibody, clone H03-5C10, recognizes C-C motif chemokine 3 (CCL3) also known as G0/G1 switch regulatory protein 19-1 and Macrophage inflammatory protein 1 alpha (MIP1alpha). CCL3 is an inflammatory cytokine with the ability to activate chemotactic mobilization of monocyte and lymphocyte cells. It also plays a role in regulating the proliferation of hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells (Baba & Mukaida 2014). The receptors of CCL3 are the G-protein coupled receptors CCR1, CCR5 and the D6 receptor in humans. Signaling via CCR1 and CCR5, CCL3 is able to stimulate lymphocyte recruitment to sites of infection, as well as CD8+ T cells to active lymph nodes (Staversky et al. 2018).

Expression levels of CCL3 have been reported to increase in patients with colorectal cancer, independently of tumor stage. This has been shown to be concurrent with the upregulated expression of CCR1 and CCR5 (L?pez et al. 2018). CCL3 has also been implicated in various pathologies related to microenvironmental dysfunction, including myelodysplastic syndrome, metastatic disease of renal cell carcinoma and B cell lymphomas (Staversky et al. 2018).

The biotinylated Mouse anti Human CCL3 antibody, clone F01.1-3E5 can be used as a detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA with the purified Mouse anti Human CCL3 antibody, clone H03-5C10 as the capture antibody.

NCBI Description

This locus represents a small inducible cytokine. The encoded protein, also known as macrophage inflammatory protein 1 alpha, plays a role in inflammatory responses through binding to the receptors CCR1, CCR4 and CCR5. Polymorphisms at this locus may be associated with both resistance and susceptibility to infection by human immunodeficiency virus type 1.[provided by RefSeq, Sep 2010]

Uniprot Description

CCL3: Monokine with inflammatory and chemokinetic properties. Binds to CCR1, CCR4 and CCR5. One of the major HIV-suppressive factors produced by CD8+ T-cells. Recombinant MIP-1-alpha induces a dose-dependent inhibition of different strains of HIV-1, HIV-2, and simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV). Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.

Product Notes

The CCL3 ccl3 (Catalog #AAA226096) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse anti Human CCL3:Biotin reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CCL3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). ELISA: 1.0ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCL3 ccl3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCL3, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
