Related Product Information for anti-Calcineurin alpha antibody
Calcineurin is a major calmodulin binding protein in the brain. It is a holoenzyme composed of a calmodulin binding subunit, a catalytic alpha subunit (calcineurin A) and a calcium binding beta subunit (calcineurin B). The calcineurin A subunit has at least two isoforms in bovine brain; alpha 1 (61kD) and alpha 2 (59kD).

Product Notes

The Calcineurin alpha (Catalog #AAA631689) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Calcineurin alpha (CNA, CALNA, PPP3CA, Serine/Threonine-protein Phosphatase 2B Catalytic Subunit alpha Isoform, CAM-PRP Catalytic Subunit, Calmodulin-dependent Calcineurin A Subunit alpha Isoform) reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Calcineurin alpha can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Western Blot: 0.25-0.5ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 0.5-1ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Calcineurin alpha for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Calcineurin alpha, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
