Rabbit anti-Bovine BSA Monoclonal Antibody | anti-BSA antibody
Anti-BSA [D1]
ELISA (EIA)
(ELISA of anti-BSA antibody on BSA. Binding curves of the rabbit IgG chimeric version of the anti-BSA antibody D1 (; blue line) and isotype control (MBS488041, anti-fluorescein; orange line) to an ELISA plate coated with BSA at a concentration of 5ug/ml. A 3-fold serial dilution from 90ug/ml was tested in the experiment. For signal detection, a 1:4000 dilution of an HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used.)
D1 was prepared by isolating anti-p24 scFvs from a phage display library made from a mouse immunized with lysate from HIV-1 infected H9 cells.
Note on publication: Describes the production of the anti-BSA antibody D1 in addition to antibodies specific for the viral protein p24.

Uniprot Description
albumin: Serum albumin, the main protein of plasma, has a good binding capacity for water, Ca(2+), Na(+), K(+), fatty acids, hormones, bilirubin and drugs. Its main function is the regulation of the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood. Major zinc transporter in plasma, typically binds about 80% of all plasma zinc

Product Notes
The BSA alb (Catalog #AAA488576) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-BSA [D1] reacts with Bovine and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's BSA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP). D1 was selected for by panning where it reacted postiively on BSA. D1 can also be used as a control in IP and when working with native proteins when conducting studies within a BSA medium. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BSA alb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "BSA, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
