Host
Mouse
Reactivity
Porcine
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
Mouse (BALB/c) IgM kappa
Clone Number
BB6-10A10
Specificity
Indeterminate
MAb BB6-10A10 stains the following percentages of surface immunoglobulin (sIg) positive cells in porcine lymphoid tissues: 11-15% in peripheral blood; 22-23% in mesenteric lymph nodes; 79-87% in ileal Peyer's patches (ILPP); 6-17 in spleen; and 0% in thymus.1 While identification of the antigen(s) that are found predominantly on ILPP B cells and which are recognized by BB6-10A10 is speculative, the antibody appears to react with an immature population of B cells in the follicles of ILPPs and with a subpopulation of sIglow B cells in lymph nodes.
Form/Format
Fluorescein (FITC) Conjugate
Applicable Applications for anti-B Cell Subset antibody
Flow Cytometry; Immunohistochemistry (Acetone Fixed/Frozen Sections)
Application Notes
Flow Cytometry Suggested Dilution: <= 1 ug/10^6 cells
Characterization
To ensure optimal performance, each batch of product is tested by flow cytometry to conform to characteristics of a standard reference reagent.
Preparation and Storage
The purified (UNLB) antibody is supplied as 0.5 mg of purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.2. No preservatives or amine-containing buffer salts added. Store at 2- 8 degree C.
The fluorescein (FITC) conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2-8 degree C.
The biotin (BIOT) conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2-8 degree C.
The R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) conjugate is supplied as 0.1 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3 and a stabilizing agent. Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze!
Protect conjugated forms from light. Reagents are stable for the period shown on the label if stored as directed.

Product Notes

The B Cell Subset (Catalog #AAA673830) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse Anti-Porcine B Cell Subset-FITC reacts with Porcine and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's B Cell Subset can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry; Immunohistochemistry (Acetone Fixed/Frozen Sections). Flow Cytometry Suggested Dilution: <= 1 ug/10^6 cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the B Cell Subset for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "B Cell Subset, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
