Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for LHb elisa kit
This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. A monoclonal antibody specific to Luteinizing Hormone Beta Polypeptide (LHb) has been pre-coated onto a microplate. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between biotin labeled Luteinizing Hormone Beta Polypeptide (LHb) and unlabeled Luteinizing Hormone Beta Polypeptide (LHb) (Standards or samples) with the pre-coated antibody specific to Luteinizing Hormone Beta Polypeptide (LHb). After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is reverse proportional to the concentration of Luteinizing Hormone Beta Polypeptide (LHb) in the sample. After addition of the substrate solution, the intensity of color developed is reverse proportional to the concentration of Luteinizing Hormone Beta Polypeptide (LHb) in the sample.

NCBI Description

This gene is a member of the glycoprotein hormone beta chain family and encodes the beta subunit of luteinizing hormone (LH). Glycoprotein hormones are heterodimers consisting of a common alpha subunit and an unique beta subunit which confers biological specificity. LH is expressed in the pituitary gland and promotes spermatogenesis and ovulation by stimulating the testes and ovaries to synthesize steroids. The genes for the beta chains of chorionic gonadotropin and for luteinizing hormone are contiguous on chromosome 19q13.3. Mutations in this gene are associated with hypogonadism which is characterized by infertility and pseudohermaphroditism. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

LHB: Promotes spermatogenesis and ovulation by stimulating the testes and ovaries to synthesize steroids. Defects in LHB are a cause of hypogonadism LHB-related (HGON-LHB). Hypogonadism is characterized by infertility and pseudohermaphroditism. Belongs to the glycoprotein hormones subunit beta family.

Product Notes

The Human LHb lhb (Catalog #AAA2033694) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2033694 ELISA Kit recognizes Human LHb. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Luteinizing Hormone Beta Polypeptide, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
