Related Product Information for DSA/DSL lectin
Datura stramonium Lectin (DSA/DSL) is labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) and has an appropriate number of fluorochromes bound to provide the optimum staining characteristics for this lectin. FITC conjugates have been used in a variety of immunohistochemical and flow cytometry applications. Fluorescein conjugates display a high rate of photobleaching, signal is sensitive to pH changes, broad fluorescence emission spectrum, and fluorescence quenching on conjugation to biopolymers.

Product Notes

The DSA/DSL (Catalog #AAA6506715) is a Lectin produced from Jimson weed and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Datura stramonium (DSA/DSL), Lectin" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
