Related Product Information for Il7r recombinant protein
Protein Construction: Recombinant Mouse Interleukin-7 receptor subunit alpha is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Glu21-Asp239 is expressed with a Fc tag at the C-terminus.

Background: Interleukin 7 Receptor alpha (IL-7Ralpha), also known as CD127, is a 75 kDa hematopoietin receptor superfamily member that plays an important role in lymphocyte differentiation, proliferation, and survival. IL-7Ralpha is majorly expressed on T cells and their precursors, and early in B cell development as well, prior to the appearance of surface IgM. Dynamic regulation of IL-7Ralpha is important for the generation of appropriate immune responses.

NCBI Description

Interleukin-7 is a glycoptorein involved in the regulation of lymphopoiesis. Response of cells to IL7 is dependent on the presence of the interleukin 7 receptor (IL7R); the active receptor is a alpha/gamma chain heterodimer. The gamma(c) chain, which also associates with the interleukin-2 receptor, serves primarily to activate signal transduction by the IL7R complex, while the alpha chain of IL7R determines specific signaling events through its association with cytoplasmic signaling molecules. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Receptor for interleukin-7. Also acts as a receptor for thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP).

Product Notes

The Il7r il7r (Catalog #AAA2556797) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interleukin-7 Receptor Subunit alpha, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
