Principle of the Assay: The MyBioSource' Mouse CCL9 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Mouse CCL9 in Cell Culture Supernatants, Serum, Plasma. This assay employs an antibody specific for Mouse CCL9 coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and CCL9 present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-Mouse CCL9 antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CCL9 bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm!!Background/Introduction: Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 9 (CCL9), also called MIP-1 gamma and MRP-2, is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. CCL9 which found around Peyer's patches is secreted by follicle-associated epithelium (FAE), and it can attract dendritic cells that possess the cell surface molecule CD11b and the chemokine receptor CCR1. CCL9 is constitutively expressed in macrophages and myeloid cells. CCL9 can activate osteoclasts through its receptor CCR1 (the most abundant chemokine receptor found on osteoclasts) suggesting an important role for CCL9 in bone resorption.

Uniprot Description

IL2RA: Receptor for interleukin-2. Non-covalent dimer of an alpha and a beta subunit. IL2R exists in 3 different forms: a high affinity dimer, an intermediate affinity monomer (beta subunit), and a low affinity monomer (alpha subunit). The high and intermediate affinity forms also associate with a gamma subunit.

Product Notes

The Mouse IL2RA il2ra (Catalog #AAA824803) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA824803 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse IL2RA. AAA Biotech's CD25 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Sandwich ELISA (SE). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL2RA il2ra for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD25, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
