Porcine Inhibitor of KB Kinase Beta ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
IKKB: a kinase of the IKK family. Phosphorylates inhibitors of NF-kappa-B thus leading to the dissociation of the inhibitor/NF-kappa-B complex and ultimately the degradation of the inhibitor. Preferentially found as a heterodimer with IKK-alpha but also as an homodimer.
Protein type: Kinase, protein; EC 2.7.11.10; Protein kinase, Other; Protein kinase, Ser/Thr (non-receptor); Other group; IKK family
Cellular Component: internal side of plasma membrane; intracellular membrane-bound organelle; membrane; cytoplasm; IkappaB kinase complex; nucleus; cytosol
Molecular Function: transferase activity; protein serine/threonine kinase activity; protein binding; protein homodimerization activity; IkappaB kinase activity; protein heterodimerization activity; transferase activity, transferring phosphorus-containing groups; nucleotide binding; kinase activity; protein kinase binding; ATP binding; receptor signaling protein serine/threonine kinase activity; protein kinase activity
Biological Process: serine phosphorylation of STAT protein; B cell homeostasis; positive regulation of cell proliferation; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; I-kappaB phosphorylation; phosphorylation; protein amino acid phosphorylation; neurite development; activation of NF-kappaB transcription factor

Product Notes
The Porcine IKKbeta ikbkb (Catalog #AAA739794) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA739794 ELISA Kit recognizes Porcine IKKbeta. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Inhibitor of KB Kinase Beta, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
