PGRL / IGSF8 recombinant protein
Recombinant Mouse PGRL / IGSF8 Protein (His tag)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
IGSF8: May play a key role in diverse functions ascribed to CD81 and CD9 such as oocytes fertilization or hepatitis C virus function. May regulate proliferation and differentiation of keratinocytes. May be a negative regulator of cell motility: suppresses T-cell mobility coordinately with CD81, associates with CD82 to suppress prostate cancer cell migration, regulates epidermoid cell reaggregation and motility on laminin-5 with CD9 and CD81 as key linkers. May also play a role on integrin- dependent morphology and motility functions. May participate in the regulation of neurite outgrowth and maintenance of the neural network in the adult brain. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The PGRL / IGSF8 igsf8 (Catalog #AAA2546683) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The recombinant mouse IGSF8 comprises 563 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 60.2 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 66 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PGRL / IGSF8 igsf8 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PGRL / IGSF8, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
