Sema-3E and Plexin D1 Receptor Antibody Sampler Kit | Sema-3E antibody sampler kit
Sema-3E and Plexin D1 Receptor
Background: Plexins are a family of large integral membrane proteins that complex with neuropilins to form semaphorin co-receptors. The extracellular region of plexins contains a semaphorin domain, multiple glycine-rich motifs, and MET-related sequences. The cytoplasmic region contains a Sex/Plexin domain and putative tyrosine phosphorylation sites thatmediate signal transduction after activation. Plexin D1 is a type I transmembrane protein that may be expressed asmultiple isoforms in many cell types, including neurons and endothelial cells. Semaphorin 3E (Sema-3E) and semaphorin4A can bind Plexin D1, and ligand binding leads to phosphorylation of Tyr-1642 and activation of Plexin D1. Sema-3E andits receptor are important for angiogenesis that occurs during blood vessel development and repair. In cancers, Sema-3Eand Plexin D1 are expressed in tumor tissues and cancer cells, and the interaction of these molecules may promotecancer cell migration and metastic spreading. Thus, Plexin D1, and its ligand Sema-3E, may be important regulators ofangiogenesis and metastasis.

Product Notes
The Human, Rat, Mouse Sema-3E (Catalog #AAA474572) is an Antibody Sampler Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA474572 Antibody Sampler Kit recognizes Human, Rat, Mouse Sema-3E. AAA Biotech's Sema-3E and Plexin D1 Receptor can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Sema-3E for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Sema-3E and Plexin D1 Receptor, Antibody Sampler Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
