Related Product Information for TRIM35 elisa kit
Intended Uses: This sandwich kit is for the accurate quantitative detection of Human Tripartite Motif-containing Protein 35 (also known as TRIM35) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, cell lysates, tissue homogenates.

Principle of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Human TRIM35 antibody. TRIM35 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human TRIM35 Antibody is added and binds to TRIM35 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated TRIM35 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human TRIM35. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The function of this protein has not been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

TRIM35: May play a role as a tumor suppressor. Implicated in the cell death mechanism. Belongs to the TRIM/RBCC family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Ubiquitin conjugating system

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 8p21.2

Cellular Component: cytoplasm; nucleus

Biological Process: apoptosis; innate immune response; negative regulation of mitotic cell cycle; positive regulation of apoptosis

Product Notes

The Human TRIM35 trim35 (Catalog #AAA1604129) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1604129 ELISA Kit recognizes Human TRIM35. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Tripartite Motif-Containing Protein 35, TRIM35, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
