Human TCDD-Inducible Poly [ADP-Ribose] Polymerase (TIPARP) ELISA Kit | TIPARP elisa kit
Human TCDD-Inducible Poly [ADP-Ribose] Polymerase (TIPARP) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: TIPARP, encodes a deduced 657-amino acid protein that shares 91.8% and 52.7% sequence identity with mouse and fugu Tiparp proteins, respectively. The proteins in all 3 species contain 3 highly conserved domains: a WWE (trp, trp, glu) domain, a PARP (poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase)-like catalytic domain, and a novel TPH (TIPARP homologous) domain. The N-terminal part of the TPH domain contains a CCCH-type zinc finger. Katoh and Katoh (2003) noted that the deduced proteins of 2 human genes, which they called FLJ226093 (PARP12) and ZAP (ZC3HAV1), contain the same 3 conserved domains and share 27.5% and 26% overall sequence identity with TIPARP, respectively.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase superfamily. Studies of the mouse ortholog have shown that the encoded protein catalyzes histone poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation and may be involved in T-cell function. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, May 2010]
Uniprot Description
TIPARP: Poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase using NAD(+) as a substrate to transfer ADP-ribose onto glutamic acid residues of a protein acceptor; repeated rounds of ADP-ribosylation leads to the formation of poly(ADPribose) chains on the protein, thereby altering the function of the target protein. May play a role in the adaptative response to chemical exposure (TCDD) and thereby mediates certain effects of the chemicals.

Product Notes
The Human TIPARP tiparp (Catalog #AAA9713988) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9713988 ELISA Kit recognizes Human TIPARP. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TCDD-Inducible Poly [ADP-Ribose] Polymerase (TIPARP), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
