Human Ribosomal Protein L23A (RPL23A) ELISA Kit | RPL23A elisa kit

Human Ribosomal Protein L23A (RPL23A) ELISA Kit

Gene Names
RPL23A; L23A; MDA20
Reactivity
Human
Synonyms
Ribosomal Protein L23A (RPL23A); Human Ribosomal Protein L23A (RPL23A) ELISA Kit; RPL23A elisa kit
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Human
Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of RPL23A. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between RPL23A and analogues was observed.
Sequence Length
156
Samples
Human tissue homogenates and other biological fluids
Detection Range
0.156-10ng/mL
Sensitivity
The minimum detectable dose of RPL23A is typically less than 0.058ng/mL. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined by adding two standard deviations to the mean optical density value of twenty zero standard replicates and calculating the corresponding concentration.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level RPL23A were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level RPL23A were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV(%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Intended Uses
The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of RPL23A in human tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.
Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
Related Product Information for RPL23A elisa kit
Principle of the assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to RPL23A. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to RPL23A. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain RPL23A, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of RPL23A in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongs to the L23P family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. The protein may be one of the target molecules involved in mediating growth inhibition by interferon. In yeast, the corresponding protein binds to a specific site on the 26S rRNA. This gene is co-transcribed with the U42A, U42B, U101A, and U101B small nucleolar RNA genes, which are located in its third, first, second, and fourth introns, respectively. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes

The Human RPL23A rpl23a (Catalog #AAA2023490) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2023490 ELISA Kit recognizes Human RPL23A. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ribosomal Protein L23A (RPL23A), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
