Related Product Information for RFTN1 elisa kit
Intended Uses: This sandwich kit is for the accurate quantitative detection of Human Raftlin (also known as RFTN1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, Ascites, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Human RFTN1 antibody. RFTN1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human RFTN1 Antibody is added and binds to RFTN1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated RFTN1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human RFTN1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Uniprot Description

Involved in protein trafficking via association with clathrin and AP2 complex (PubMed:27022195, PubMed:21266579). Upon bacterial lipopolysaccharide stimulation, mediates internalization of TLR4 to endosomes in dendritic cells and macrophages; and internalization of poly(I:C) to TLR3-positive endosomes in myeloid dendritic cells and epithelial cells; resulting in activation of TICAM1-mediated signaling and subsequent IFNB1 production (PubMed:27022195, PubMed:21266579). Involved in T-cell antigen receptor-mediated signaling by regulating tyrosine kinase LCK localization, T-cell dependent antibody production and cytokine secretion (). May regulate B-cell antigen receptor-mediated signaling (PubMed:12805216). May play a pivotal role in the formation and/or maintenance of lipid rafts (PubMed:12805216).

Product Notes

The Human RFTN1 rftn1 (Catalog #AAA1600006) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1600006 ELISA Kit recognizes Human RFTN1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Raftlin (RFTN1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
