Principle
Human LAIR1 ELISA Kit is based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A polyclonal antibody from goat specific for LAIR1 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: E Coli, Immunogen sequence: Q22-Y165) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for LAIR1 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB are used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB is catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the mouse LAIR1 amount of sample captured in plate.
Assay Procedure Step 1
Aliquot 0.1ml per well of the 4000pg/ml, 2000pg/ml, 1000pg/ml, 500pg/ml, 250pg/ml, 125pg/ml, 62.5pg/ml human LAIR1 standard solutions into the precoated 96-well plate. Add 0.1ml of the sample diluent buffer into the control well (Zero well). Add 0.1ml of each properly diluted sample of human cell culture supernatants, serum or plasma(heparin, EDTA, citrate) to each empty well. See "Sample Dilution Guideline" for details. It is recommended that each human LAIR1 standard solution and each sample be measured in duplicate.
TMB Incubation Time
15-20
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C for 6 months, at -20 degree C for 12 months. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. (Shipped with wet ice.)

Related Product Information for LAIR1 elisa kit
The protein encoded by this gene is an inhibitory receptor found on peripheral mononuclear cells, including natural killer cells, T cells, and B cells. Inhibitory receptors regulate the immune response to prevent lysis of cells recognized as self. The gene is a member of both the immunoglobulin superfamily and the leukocyte-associated inhibitory receptor family. The gene maps to a region of 19q13. 4 called the leukocyte receptor cluster, which contains at least 29 genes encoding leukocyte-expressed receptors of the immunoglobulin superfamily. The encoded protein has been identified as an anchor for tyrosine phosphatase SHP-1, and may induce cell death in myeloid leukemias. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Uniprot Description

LAIR-1: an inhibitory receptor found on peripheral mononuclear cells, including NK cells, T cells, and B cells. Inhibitory receptors regulate the immune response to prevent lysis of cells recognized as self. The gene is a member of both the immunoglobulin superfamily and the leukocyte-associated inhibitory receptor family. The gene maps to a region called the leukocyte receptor cluster, which contains at least 25 genes encoding leukocyte-expressed receptors of the immunoglobulin superfamily.

Product Notes

The Human LAIR1 lair1 (Catalog #AAA1753890) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1753890 ELISA Kit recognizes Human LAIR1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LAIR1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
