Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for IGBP1 elisa kit
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Immunoglobulin Binding Protein 1 (IGBP1). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Immunoglobulin Binding Protein 1 (IGBP1). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Immunoglobulin Binding Protein 1 (IGBP1), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Immunoglobulin Binding Protein 1 (IGBP1) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

The proliferation and differentiation of B cells is dependent upon a B-cell antigen receptor (BCR) complex. Binding of antigens to specific B-cell receptors results in a tyrosine phosphorylation reaction through the BCR complex and leads to multiple signal transduction pathways. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

IGBP1: Associated to surface IgM-receptor; may be involved in signal transduction. May be involved in regulation of the catalytic activity of type 2A-related serine/threonine phosphatases. Associates with PP2A-alpha and PP2A-beta catalytic subunits, and with PP4 and PP6. Interacts with MID1 and MID2. Ubiquitously expressed with highest levels in heart, skeletal muscle and pancreas. Belongs to the IGBP1/TAP42 family.

Protein type: Phosphatase, regulatory subunit; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: Xq13.1-q13.3

Cellular Component: microtubule; cytoplasm

Molecular Function: protein domain specific binding; protein binding; mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase binding; protein phosphatase type 2A regulator activity

Biological Process: negative regulation of protein amino acid dephosphorylation; B cell activation; positive regulation of dephosphorylation; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; negative regulation of caspase activity; negative regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; signal transduction; negative regulation of stress-activated MAPK cascade

Disease: Corpus Callosum, Agenesis Of, With Mental Retardation, Ocular Coloboma, And Micrognathia

Product Notes

The Human IGBP1 igbp1 (Catalog #AAA2024740) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2024740 ELISA Kit recognizes Human IGBP1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Immunoglobulin Binding Protein 1 (IGBP1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
