Related Product Information for HSP90b1 elisa kit
Intended Uses: This sandwich kit is for the accurate quantitative detection of human Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 1A (also known as HSPA1A) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, cell lysates, tissue homogenates.

Principle of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with human HSPA1A antibody. HSPA1A present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated human HSPA1A Antibody is added and binds to HSPA1A in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated HSPA1A antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of human HSPA1A. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of a family of adenosine triphosphate(ATP)-metabolizing molecular chaperones with roles in stabilizing and folding other proteins. The encoded protein is localized to melanosomes and the endoplasmic reticulum. Expression of this protein is associated with a variety of pathogenic states, including tumor formation. There is a microRNA gene located within the 5' exon of this gene. There are pseudogenes for this gene on chromosomes 1 and 15. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2012]

Uniprot Description

Molecular chaperone that functions in the processing and transport of secreted proteins. When associated with CNPY3, required for proper folding of Toll-like receptors (). Functions in endoplasmic reticulum associated degradation (ERAD). Has ATPase activity.

Product Notes

The Human HSP90b1 hsp90b1 (Catalog #AAA162640) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA162640 ELISA Kit recognizes Human HSP90b1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Heat Shock Protein 90kDa Beta 1 (HSP90b1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
