Related Product Information for CXCL6 elisa kit
Principle of the assay: human CXCL6 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from mouse specific for CXCL6 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(E.coli,V40-N114) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for CXCL6 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human CXCL6 amount of sample captured in plate.
Background: Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 6 (CXCL6) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family that is also known as granulocyte chemotactic protein 2 (GCP-2). As its former name suggests, CXCL6 is a chemoattractant for neutrophilic granulocytes. It elicits its chemotactic effects by interacting with the chemokine receptors CXCR1 and CXCR2. The gene for CXCL6 is located on human chromosome 4 in a cluster with other CXC chemokine genes.

Product Notes

The Human CXCL6 cxcl6 (Catalog #AAA176562) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA176562 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CXCL6. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CXCL6/GCP2, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
