Human Cullin-9 (CUL9) ELISA Kit | CUL9 elisa kit
Human Cullin-9 (CUL9) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: PARC directly interacted and formed an approximately 1-MD complex with p53 in the cytoplasm of unstressed cells. In the absence of stress, inactivation of PARC induced nuclear localization of endogenous p53 and activated p53-dependent apoptosis. Overexpression of PARC promoted cytoplasmic sequestration of ectopic p53.abnormal cytoplasmic localization of p53 was observed in a number of neuroblastoma cell lines; RNA interference-mediated reduction of endogenous PARC significantly sensitized these neuroblastoma cells in the DNA damage response. These results revealed that PARC is a critical regulator in controlling p53 subcellular localization and subsequent function.PARC also has a unique motif that is highly homologous to the C terminus of cullin proteins that the authors referred to as the C-terminal cullin homology domain.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
PARC: Cytoplasmic anchor protein in p53-associated protein complex. Regulates the subcellular localization of p53 and subsequent function. Seems to be part of an atypical cullin-RING- based E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex. In vitro, complexes of CUL9/PARC with either CUL7 or TP53 contain E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase activity. Belongs to the cullin family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Ligase; Ubiquitin ligase; Ubiquitin conjugating system; EC 6.3.2.-
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 6p21.1
Cellular Component: cullin-RING ubiquitin ligase complex; cytoplasm
Molecular Function: protein binding; zinc ion binding; ubiquitin protein ligase binding; ATP binding
Biological Process: ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; regulation of mitosis; protein ubiquitination; microtubule cytoskeleton organization and biogenesis

Product Notes
The Human CUL9 cul9 (Catalog #AAA9716076) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9716076 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CUL9. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cullin-9 (CUL9), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
