Related Product Information for CoQ10B elisa kit
Intended Uses: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Human CoQ10B concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human CoQ10B. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human CoQ10B and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human CoQ10B, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human CoQ10B. You can calculate the concentration of Human CoQ10B in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

Uniprot Description

COQ10A: Required for the function of coenzyme Q in the respiratory chain. May serve as a chaperone or may be involved in the transport of Q6 from its site of synthesis to the catalytic sites of the respiratory complexes (Probable). Belongs to the COQ10 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Mitochondrial

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 12q13.3

Product Notes

The Human CoQ10B coq10a (Catalog #AAA2533439) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2533439 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CoQ10B. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CoQ10B (Coenzyme Q10 Homolog B), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
