Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess intra-assay precision.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): Three samples of known concentration were tested in forty separate assays to assess inter-assay precision.
CV (%) = SD/meanX100
Intra-Assay: CV<8%
Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Test Principle
This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate EMID2 in samples. An antibody specific for EMID2 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyEMID2 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for EMID2 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of EMID2 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Assay Duration
1-4.5h
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C

Product Notes

The Human EMID2 col26a1 (Catalog #AAA2801777) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2801777 ELISA Kit recognizes Human EMID2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Collagen alpha-1 (EMID2), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
