Intended Use: The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. In order to measure the concentration ofCRTin the sample, This CRTELISA Kit includes a set of calibration standards. The calibration standards are assayed at the same time as the samples and allow the operator to produce a standard curve of Optical Density versusCRTconcentration. The concentration ofCRTin the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

Ca(2+)-binding molecular chaperone that promotes folding of proteins carrying N-linked glycans [RGD, Feb 2006]

Uniprot Description

Calcium-binding chaperone that promotes folding, oligomeric assembly and quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) via the calreticulin/calnexin cycle. This lectin interacts transiently with almost all of the monoglucosylated glycoproteins that are synthesized in the ER. Interacts with the DNA-binding domain of NR3C1 and mediates its nuclear export. Involved in maternal gene expression regulation. May participate in oocyte maturation via the regulation of calcium homeostasis.

Product Notes

The Human CRT calr (Catalog #AAA3800583) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA3800583 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CRT. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Calreticulin (CRT), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
