1657
Samples
Serum, plasma and other biological fluids
Detection Range
15.6-1,000pg/mL
Sensitivity
< 6.7pg/mL
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Anti-THSD7A were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Anti-THSD7A were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV(%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for THSD7A elisa kit
Intended Uses: The kit is an enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of Anti-THSD7A in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with THSD7A. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated secondary antibody. After TMB substrate solution is added, those wells that contain Anti-THSD7A will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm +/- 10nm. The concentration of Anti-THSD7A in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is found almost exclusively in endothelial cells from placenta and umbilical cord. The encoded protein appears to interact with alpha(V)beta(3) integrin and paxillin to inhibit endothelial cell migration and tube formation. This protein may be involved in cytoskeletal organization. Variations in this gene may be associated with low bone mineral density in osteoporosis. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2010]

Uniprot Description

THSD7A: The soluble form promotes endothelial cell migration and filopodia formationduring angiogenesis via a FAK-dependent mechanism.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 7p21.3

Cellular Component: integral component of membrane; plasma membrane

Biological Process: angiogenesis; cell differentiation

Product Notes

The Human THSD7A thsd7a (Catalog #AAA2097746) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2097746 ELISA Kit recognizes Human THSD7A. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Anti-Thrombospondin Type I Domain Containing Protein 7A Antibody (Anti-THSD7A), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
