Human Amiloride Sensitive Sodium Channel Subunit Alpha (SCNN1a) ELISA Kit | SCNN1a elisa kit
Human Amiloride Sensitive Sodium Channel Subunit Alpha (SCNN1a) ELISA Kit
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Amiloride Sensitive Sodium Channel Subunit Alpha (SCNN1a) and analogues was observed.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
acts as an epithelial sodium ion channel; regulates salt and fluid transport in the kidney [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
ENaC-alpha: Sodium permeable non-voltage-sensitive ion channel inhibited by the diuretic amiloride. Mediates the electrodiffusion of the luminal sodium (and water, which follows osmotically) through the apical membrane of epithelial cells. Controls the reabsorption of sodium in kidney, colon, lung and sweat glands. Also plays a role in taste perception. Probable heterotrimer containing one alpha, one beta and one gamma subunit. A delta subunit can replace the alpha subunit. Interacts with the WW domains of NEDD4, NEDD4L, WWP1 and WWP2. By aldosterone. Highly expressed in kidney and lung. Detected at intermediate levels in pancreas and liver, and at low levels in heart and placenta. Isoform 1 and isoform 2 predominate in all tissues. Expression of isoform 3, isoform 4 and isoform 5 is very low or not detectable, except in lung and heart. Activated by WNK1, WNK2, WNK3 and WNK4. Belongs to the amiloride-sensitive sodium channel (TC 1.A.6) family. SCNN1A subfamily. 6 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The Human SCNN1a scnn1a (Catalog #AAA2023473) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2023473 ELISA Kit recognizes Human SCNN1a. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Amiloride Sensitive Sodium Channel Subunit Alpha (SCNN1a), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
