Human Acyl CoA dehydrogenase family member 11 (ACAD11) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: ACACB2 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a polyclonal anti-ACACB2 antibody and an ACACB2-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with ACACB2-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the ACACB2 concentration since ACACB2 from samples and ACACB2-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-ACACB2 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by ACACB2 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind ACACB2-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The ACACB2 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes an acyl-CoA dehydrogenase enzyme with a preference for carbon chain lengths between 20 and 26. Naturally occurring read-through transcription occurs between the upstream gene NPHP3 (nephronophthisis 3 (adolescent)) and this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2015]
Uniprot Description

Product Notes
The Human ACAD11 acad11 (Catalog #AAA7249370) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7249370 ELISA Kit recognizes Human ACAD11. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Acyl CoA dehydrogenase family member 11 (ACAD11), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
