Human Filamin A Alpha (FLNa) ELISA Kit DIY Materials
2. Aspirate and wash 1 time.
3. Block the plates with 200 muL per well of working solution of Blocking Buffer. Incubate at 37 degree C for 1.5 hours.
4. Aspirate and wash 1 time. The plates are now ready for sample detection, the protocol is the same as regular ELISA.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is an actin-binding protein that crosslinks actin filaments and links actin filaments to membrane glycoproteins. The encoded protein is involved in remodeling the cytoskeleton to effect changes in cell shape and migration. This protein interacts with integrins, transmembrane receptor complexes, and second messengers. Defects in this gene are a cause of several syndromes, including periventricular nodular heterotopias (PVNH1, PVNH4), otopalatodigital syndromes (OPD1, OPD2), frontometaphyseal dysplasia (FMD), Melnick-Needles syndrome (MNS), and X-linked congenital idiopathic intestinal pseudoobstruction (CIIPX). Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Mar 2009]
Uniprot Description
FLNA: a ubiquitous cytoskeletal protein that promotes orthogonal branching of actin filaments and links actin filaments to membrane glycoproteins. Plays an essential role in embryonic cell migration. Anchors various transmembrane proteins to the actin cytoskeleton and serves as a scaffold for a wide range of cytoplasmic signaling proteins. Interactions with filamin A may allow neuroblast migration from the ventricular zone into the cortical plate. Tethers cell surface-localized furin, modulates its rate of internalization and directs its intracellular trafficking.

Product Notes
The Human FLNa flna (Catalog #AAA2089260) is a DIY ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2089260 DIY ELISA Kit recognizes Human FLNa. Main materials for "Do It Yourself ELISA Kit". Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FLNa flna for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Filamin A Alpha (FLNa), DIY ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
