Human CDK1 (Cyclin Dependent Kinase 1) CLIA Kit
Principle of the Assay: This CLIA kit usesthe Competitive-CLIAprinciple. The micro CLIAplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Human 8-epi-PGF2alpha. During the reaction. Human 8-epi-PGF2alpha in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of Human8-epi-PGF2alphaon the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to Human 8-epi-PGF2alpha. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The Relative light unit (RLU) is measured spectrophotometricallyby the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is negatively associated with the concentration of Human 8-epi-PGF2alpha. You can calculate the concentration of Human 8-epi-PGF2alpha in the samples by comparing the RLU of the samples to the standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
CDK1: a protein kinase of the CDK family. Catalytic subunit of the conserved protein complex known as M-phase promoting factor (MPF), which is essential for G1/S and G2/M phase transitions. Mitotic cyclins stably associate with this protein and function as regulatory subunits. Its activity is controlled by cyclin availability and phosphorylation through the cell cycle. Activated in many cancers including colon, liver and breast. The T isoform, which lacks a regulatory region, is expressed in breast cancer. Inhibition in cancer cells may drive cells into apoptosis. May also drive cell migration. Inhibitors: BMS-265246, BMS-265246-01. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The Human CDK1 cdk1 (Catalog #AAA2531151) is a CLIA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2531151 CLIA Kit recognizes Human CDK1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CDK1 (Cyclin Dependent Kinase 1), CLIA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
