Related Product Information for TCIM blocking peptide
This gene encodes a small, monomeric, predominantly unstructured protein that functions as a positive regulator of the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway. This protein interacts with a repressor of beta-catenin mediated transcription at nuclear speckles. It is thought to competitively block interactions of the repressor with beta-catenin, resulting in up-regulation of beta-catenin target genes. The encoded protein may also play a role in the NF-kappaB and ERK1/2 signaling pathways. Expression of this gene may play a role in the proliferation of several types of cancer including thyroid cancer, breast cancer and hematological malignancies.

Product Notes

The TCIM c8orf4 (Catalog #AAA3241536) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TCIM Peptide - N-terminal region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TCIM can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TCIM c8orf4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: TASRKKAVGN IFENTDQESL ERLFRNSGDK KAEERAKIIF AIDQDVEEKT. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TCIM, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
