Related Product Information for CTU1 blocking peptide
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-CTU1 Antibody, made

Target Description: CTU1 plays a central role in 2-thiolation of mcm5S2U at tRNA wobble positions of tRNA(Lys), tRNA(Glu) and tRNA(Gln). CTU1 directly binds tRNAs and probably acts by catalyzing adenylation of tRNAs, an intermediate required for 2-thiolation. It is unclear whether it acts as a sulfurtransferase that transfers sulfur from thiocarboxylated URM1 onto the uridine of tRNAs at wobble position.

Uniprot Description

ATPBD3: Plays a central role in 2-thiolation of mcm(5)S(2)U at tRNA wobble positions of tRNA(Lys), tRNA(Glu) and tRNA(Gln). Directly binds tRNAs and probably acts by catalyzing adenylation of tRNAs, an intermediate required for 2-thiolation. It is unclear whether it acts as a sulfurtransferase that transfers sulfur from thiocarboxylated URM1 onto the uridine of tRNAs at wobble position. Belongs to the TtcA family. CTU1/NCS6/ATPBD3 subfamily.

Product Notes

The CTU1 ctu1 (Catalog #AAA3242388) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CTU1 Peptide - C-terminal region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CTU1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CTU1 ctu1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: ALASRALCQA CALLDGLNRG RPRLAIGKGR RGLDEEATPG TPGDPARPPA. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CTU1, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
