Related Product Information for anti-ZFP-42/REX-1 antibody
REX-1/Zfp-42 was initially described as a factor present at high levels in murine F9 teratocarcinoma stem cells (EC). The Rex-1 (Zfp-42) gene encodes a zinc finger family transcription factor which is highly expressed in mouse and human embryonic stem cells. It is one of several gene markers used to identify human stem cells. REX-1 is found in spermatocytes and primary oocytes during replication and may play a role in meiosis. Recently, the expression of REX-1 in normal epithelial tissue cells has been demonstrated.

Product Notes

The ZFP-42/REX-1 zfp42 (Catalog #AAA851010) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ZFP-42/REX-1 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ZFP-42/REX-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:1,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ZFP-42/REX-1 zfp42 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ZFP-42/REX-1, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
