Hamster Hnrnp-K ELISA Kit | HNRNPAB elisa kit

Hamster Hnrnp-K ELISA Kit

Gene Names
HNRNPAB; ABBP1; HNRPAB
Reactivity
Hamster
Synonyms
Hnrnp-K; Hamster Hnrnp-K ELISA Kit; HNRNPAB elisa kit
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Hamster
Specificity
This kit recognizes recombinant and natural Human HNRNPAB, no significant cross-reactivity or interference was observed.
Samples
Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces, Urine and Body Fluids
Detection Range
0.25 ng/ml ~ 8 ng/ml.
Sensitivity
0.1 ng/ml.
Intended Uses
This ELISA kit is intended for laboratory in vitro research use only, not for drug, household or other use! The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm by a spectrophotometer. In order to measure the concentration of Human HNRNPAB in the sample, this ELISA kit includes a set of calibration standards. The calibration standards are assayed at the same time as the samples and allow the operator to produce a standard curve of Optical Density versus Human HNRNPAB concentration. The concentration of Human HNRNPAB in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay CV (%) are less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay CV (%) are less than 15%.
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C

Related Product Information for HNRNPAB elisa kit
Introduction: ELISA is a simple and highly sensitive method of analysis that allows for simultaneous and rapid quantification of a large number of samples. The assay is based on the specific recognition of the target compound (analyte/antigen) by antibodies which bind to the compound. The antigen-antibody complex is detected and measured with the aid of an enzyme-labeled antibody or antigen. Upon addition of a non-colored reagent, the enzyme produces a color reaction where the color intensity is directly or inversely proportional to the concentration of the analyte in the sample.

NCBI Description

This gene belongs to the subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs). The hnRNPs are produced by RNA polymerase II and are components of the heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) complexes. They are associated with pre-mRNAs in the nucleus and appear to influence pre-mRNA processing and other aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport. While all of the hnRNPs are present in the nucleus, some seem to shuttle between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. The hnRNP proteins have distinct nucleic acid binding properties. The protein encoded by this gene, which binds to one of the components of the multiprotein editosome complex, has two repeats of quasi-RRM (RNA recognition motif) domains that bind to RNAs. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

hnRNP A/B: a single-stranded RNA binding protein with two RNA-recognition (RRM) domains. Has a high affinity for G- rich and U-rich regions of hnRNA. Also binds to APOB mRNA transcripts around the RNA editing site. Interacts with APOBEC1. Observed in a mRNP granule complex, at least composed of ACTB, ACTN4, DHX9, ERG, HNRNPA1, HNRNPA2B1, HNRNPAB, HNRNPD, HNRNPL, HNRNPR, HNRNPU, HSPA1, HSPA8, IGF2BP1, ILF2, ILF3, NCBP1, NCL, PABPC1, PABPC4, PABPN1, RPLP0, RPS3, RPS3A, RPS4X, RPS8, RPS9, SYNCRIP, TROVE2, YBX1 and untranslated mRNAs. A member of the RNA recognition motif (RRM) family. Four isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The Hamster HNRNPAB hnrnpab (Catalog #AAA015641) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA015641 ELISA Kit recognizes Hamster HNRNPAB. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Hnrnp-K, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
