Guanylate cyclase soluble subunit alpha-2 (GUCY1A2) Recombinant Protein | GUCY1A2 recombinant protein
Recombinant Human Guanylate cyclase soluble subunit alpha-2 (GUCY1A2)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Soluble guanylate cyclases are heterodimeric proteins that catalyze the conversion of GTP to 3',5'-cyclic GMP and pyrophosphate. The protein encoded by this gene is an alpha subunit of this complex and it interacts with a beta subunit to form the guanylate cyclase enzyme, which is activated by nitric oxide. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2012]
Uniprot Description
Has guanylyl cyclase on binding to the beta-1 subunit.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Guanylate cyclase soluble subunit alpha-2 (GUCY1A2), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
