Human glutaredoxin, cysteine rich 1 ELISA Kit | GRXCR1 elisa kit
Human Glutaredoxin domain-containing cysteine-rich protein 1, GRXCR1 ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene is one of 60 loci associated with autosomal-recessive nonsyndromic hearing impairment. This gene encodes a protein which contains GRX-like domains; these domains play a role in the S-glutathionylation of proteins and may be involved in actin organization in hair cells. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2010]
Uniprot Description
GRXCR1: May play a role in actin filament architecture in developing stereocilia of sensory cells. Defects in GRXCR1 are the cause of deafness autosomal recessive type 25 (DFNB25). DFNB25 is characterized by moderate to severe or profound hearing loss which is progressive in some individuals but not in others. Speech development is impaired in some but not all affected individuals and vestibular dysfunction is observed in some affected individuals. Belongs to the GRXCR1 family.

Product Notes
The Human GRXCR1 grxcr1 (Catalog #AAA9341568) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9341568 ELISA Kit recognizes Human GRXCR1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "glutaredoxin, cysteine rich 1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
