Mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor-10 ELISA Kit | FGF-10 elisa kit

Mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor-10 ELISA Kit

Reactivity
Mouse
Synonyms
Fibroblast Growth Factor-10; Mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor-10 ELISA Kit; FGF-10 elisa kit
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Mouse
Specificity
This kit recognizes recombinant and natural Mouse FGF-10, no significant cross-reactivity or interference was observed.
Samples
Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces, Urine and Body Fluids
Detection Range
15.6 pg/ml - 500 pg/ml.
Sensitivity
2.0 pg/ml.
Intended Uses
This ELISA kit is intended for laboratory in vitro research use only, not for drug, household or other use! The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm by a spectrophotometer. In order to measure the concentration of Mouse FGF-10 in the sample, this ELISA kit includes a set of calibration standards. The calibration standards are assayed at the same time as the samples and allow the operator to produce a standard curve of Optical Density versus Mouse FGF-10 concentration. The concentration of Mouse FGF-10 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay CV (%) are less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay CV (%) are less than 15%.
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C

Related Product Information for FGF-10 elisa kit
Introduction: ELISA is a simple and highly sensitive method of analysis that allows for simultaneous and rapid quantification of a large number of samples. The assay is based on the specific recognition of the target compound (analyte/antigen) by antibodies which bind to the compound. The antigen-antibody complex is detected and measured with the aid of an enzyme-labeled antibody or antigen. Upon addition of a non-colored reagent, the enzyme produces a color reaction where the color intensity is directly or inversely proportional to the concentration of the analyte in the sample.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. This protein exhibits mitogenic activity for keratinizing epidermal cells, but essentially no activity for fibroblasts, which is similar to the biological activity of FGF7. Studies of the mouse homolog of suggested that this gene is required for embryonic epidermal morphogenesis including brain development, lung morphogenesis, and initiation of lim bud formation. This gene is also implicated to be a primary factor in the process of wound healing. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

FGF10: Plays an important role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation and cell differentiation. Required for normal branching morphogenesis. May play a role in wound healing. Interacts with FGFR1 and FGFR2. Interacts with FGFBP1. Belongs to the heparin-binding growth factors family.

Product Notes

The Mouse FGF-10 fgf10 (Catalog #AAA043518) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA043518 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse FGF-10. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Fibroblast Growth Factor-10, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
