Related Product Information for FBLN2 elisa kit
Principle of the Assay||This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti- Human FBLN2antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti- Human FBLN2 antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and wash with wash buffer. HRPStreptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the Human FBLN2 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of Human FBLN2can be calculated.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes an extracellular matrix protein, which belongs to the fibulin family. This protein binds various extracellular ligands and calcium. It may play a role during organ development, in particular, during the differentiation of heart, skeletal and neuronal structures. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

FBLN2: Its binding to fibronectin and some other ligands is calcium dependent. Belongs to the fibulin family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The Human FBLN2 fbln2 (Catalog #AAA760401) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA760401 ELISA Kit recognizes Human FBLN2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Fibulin-2, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
