Related Product Information for Ppib active protein
Description: Cyclophilin B Mouse Recombinant produced in E Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 207 amino acids (34-216 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 22.7kDa. Cyclophilin B is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Introduction: Cyclophilin B (also known as PPIB, peptidylpropyl isomerase B) is a cyclosporine-binding protein and is mainly located within the endoplasmic reticulum. It is associated with the secretory pathway and released in biological fluids. This protein can bind to cells derived from T- and B-lymphocytes, and may regulate cyclosporine A-mediated immunosuppression.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cyclophilin-B, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
