• Materials Provided: 1. Capture Antibody 1 mg/mL of rabbit anti-Human VEGF/VEGFA/VEGF121 monoclonal antibody (in PBS, pH 7.4). Dilute to a working concentration of 1ug/mL in PBS before coating. ; 2. Detection Antibody 0.2 mg/mL of rabbit anti-Human VEGF/VEGFA/VEGF121 monoclonal antibody conjugated to horseradish-peroxidase (HRP) (in PBS, 50 % HRP-Protector, pH 7.4, store at 4 degree C). Dilute to working concentration of 0.15ug/mL in Dilution Buffer before use. ; 3. Standard Each vial contains 22 ng of recombinant Human VEGF/VEGFA/VEGF121. Reconstitute with 1 mL Dilution Buffer. After reconstitution, store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C in a manual defrost freezer. A seven-point standard curve using 2-fold serial dilutions in Dilution Buffer, and a high standard of 1000 pg/mL is recommended.
• Preparation and Storage: Capture Antibody: Aliquot and store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.; Detection Antibody: Store at 4 degree C and protect it from prolonged exposure to light for up to 6 months from date of receipt. DO NOT FREEZE!; Standard: Store lyophilized standard at -20 degree C to -80 degree C for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Aliquot and store the reconstituted Standard at -80 degree C for up to 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), also known as vascular permeability factor (VPF) and VEGF-A, is a potent mediator of both angiogenesis and vasculogenesis in the fetus and adult. It is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)/vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family and often exists as a disulfide-linked homodimer. VEGF-A protein is a glycosylated mitogen that specifically acts on endothelial cells and has various effects, including mediating increased vascular permeability, inducing angiogenesis, vasculogenesis and endothelial cell growth, promoting cell migration, inhibiting apoptosis and tumor growth.
