Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the indirect competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The coupling antigen is pre-coated on the micro-well stripes.( A Sulfathiazole conjugate has been pre-coated onto a microplate) Then the Sulfathiazole in the sample and the coupling antigen pre-coated on the micro-well stripes compete for the anti-Sulfathiazole antibody. After the addition of the enzyme conjugate, the TMB substrate is added for coloration. The optical density (OD) value of the sample has a negative correlation with the Sulfathiazole in the sample. This (OD) value is compared to the standard curve and the Sulfathiazole concentration is subsequently obtained.

Product Notes

The ST (Catalog #AAA902563) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Sulfathiazole (ST), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
