Biological Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized SARS-CoV-2-S1-RBD (V367F) at 5ug/ml can bind human ACE2, the EC50 is 65.58-90.16ng/ml.
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20 degree C/-80 degree C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

The cDNA fragment encoding 319-541AA of the V367Fmatation of human SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein (S) was fused with a C-terminal 10xHis-tag and then expressed in the mammalian cell. The product is the recombinant partial-length SARS-CoV-2-S protein. Its purity was measured by using SDS-PAGE and reached up to 90%. Under reducing conditions, there presented a molecular mass band of about 35 kDa on the gel. The slightly higher result was attributed to glycosylation. It contains less than 1.0 EU/ug determined by the LAL method. It is also identified as an active protein through the functional ELISA. This recombinant SARS-CoV-2-S protein is in-stock now.
