Reconstitute with sterile dH2O to 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers and stored at 4 degree C for 1 week or stored at -20 degree C for future use.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile dH2O, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Related Product Information for CCL19 active protein
MIP-3 beta is a CC chemokine that is expressed in the thymus, lymph nodes and in activated bone marrow stromal cells and signals through the CCR7 receptor. MIP-3 beta is a chemoattractant for T and B lymphocytes and myeloid progenitor cells. Human MIP-3 beta is active on murine cells. Recombinant human MIP-3 beta is an 8.8kD protein containing 77 amino acid residues, including the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines.

NCBI Description

This gene is one of several CC cytokine genes clustered on the p-arm of chromosome 9. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene may play a role in normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing. It also plays an important role in trafficking of T cells in thymus, and in T cell and B cell migration to secondary lymphoid organs. It specifically binds to chemokine receptor CCR7. [provided by RefSeq]

Uniprot Description

CCL19: May play a role not only in inflammatory and immunological responses but also in normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing. May play an important role in trafficking of T-cells in thymus, and T-cell and B-cell migration to secondary lymphoid organs. Specifically binds to chemokine receptor CCR7. Recombinant CCL19 shows potent chemotactic activity for T-cells and B-cells but not for granulocytes and monocytes. Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.

Product Notes

The CCL19 ccl19 (Catalog #AAA650989) is an Active Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The amino acid sequence is listed below: GTNDAEDCCL SVTQKPIPGY IVRNFHYLLI KDGCRVPAVV FTTLRGRQLC APPDQPWVER IIQRLQRTSA KMKRRSS. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 3 beta, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
