Related Product Information for AKR7A3 active protein
Background: AKR7A3, is a member of the aldo/keto reductase superfamily, which consists of more than 40 known enzymes and proteins. It takes part in the detoxification of aldehydes and ketones. AKR7A3 reduces the dialdehyde protein-binding form of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) to the non-binding AFB1 dialcohol. AKR7A3 participates in protection of liver against the toxic and carcinogenic effects of AFB1, a potent hepatocarcinogen.

Product Notes

The AKR7A3 akr7a3 (Catalog #AAA845376) is an Active Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's AKR7A3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AKR7A3 akr7a3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MRGSHHHHHH GMASMTGGQQ MGRDLYDDDD KDRWGSELE SRQLSRARPA TVLGAMEMGR RMDAPTSAAV TRAFLERGHT EIDTAFVYSE GQSETILGGL GLRLGGSDCR VKIDTKAIPL FGNSLKPDSL RFQLETSLKR LQCPRVDLFY LHMPDHSTPV EETLRACHQL HQEGKFVELG LSNYAAWEVA EICTLCKSNG WILPTVYQGM YNAITRQVET ELFPCLRHFG LRFYAFNPLA GGLLTGKYKY EDKDGKQPVG RFFGNTWAEM YRNRYWKEHH FEGIALVEKA LQAAYGASAP SMTSATLRWM YHHSQLQGAH GDAVILGMSS LEQLEQNLAA AEEGPLEPAV VDAFNQAWHL VAHECPNYFR. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "AKR7A3, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
