Mouse cornichon homolog 2 (Drosophila) ELISA Kit | CNIH2 elisa kit
Mouse Protein cornichon homolog 2, CNIH2 ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a protein that is an auxiliary subunit of the ionotropic glutamate receptor of the AMPA subtype. This protein is similar to a Drosophila protein involved in anterior-posterior and dorsal-ventral patterning. Cnih2 conditional knockout mice exhibit reduced AMPA receptor synaptic transmission in the hippocampus. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. Uniprot Description
CNIH2: Regulates the trafficking and gating properties of AMPA- selective glutamate receptors (AMPARs). Promotes their targeting to the cell membrane and synapses and modulates their gating properties by regulating their rates of activation, deactivation and desensitization. Blocks CACNG8-mediated resensitization of AMPA receptors. Belongs to the cornichon family.

Product Notes
The Mouse CNIH2 cnih2 (Catalog #AAA9321095) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9321095 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse CNIH2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "cornichon homolog 2 (Drosophila), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
