Related Product Information for DSE elisa kit
Intended Uses: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Chicken DSE concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to DSE. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for DSE and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain DSE, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of DSE. You can calculate the concentration of DSE in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a tumor-rejection antigen. This antigen possesses tumor epitopes capable of inducing HLA-A24-restricted and tumor-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes in cancer patients and may be useful for specific immunotherapy. This gene product is localized to the endoplasmic reticulum. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Product Notes

The Chicken DSE dse (Catalog #AAA2509424) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2509424 ELISA Kit recognizes Chicken DSE. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DSE, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
