Human cat eye syndrome chromosome region, candidate 2 ELISA Kit | CECR2 elisa kit
Human Cat eye syndrome critical region protein 2, CECR2 ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a bromodomain-containing protein that is involved in chromatin remodeling, and may additionally play a role in DNA damage response. The encoded protein functions as part of an ATP-dependent complex that is involved in neurulation. This gene is a candidate gene for Cat Eye Syndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2014]
Uniprot Description
CECR2: Part of the CERF (CECR2-containing-remodeling factor) complex, which facilitates the perturbation of chromatin structure in an ATP-dependent manner. May be involved through its interaction with LRPPRC in the integration of cytoskeletal network with vesicular trafficking, nucleocytosolic shuttling, transcription, chromosome remodeling and cytokinesis. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Apoptosis
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 22q11.2
Cellular Component: nucleus
Molecular Function: protein binding
Biological Process: vesicle-mediated transport; neural fold formation; inner ear receptor stereocilium organization and biogenesis; single fertilization; neural tube closure; ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling; cytokinesis; cytoskeleton organization and biogenesis; DNA fragmentation during apoptosis

Product Notes
The Human CECR2 cecr2 (Catalog #AAA9337842) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9337842 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CECR2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "cat eye syndrome chromosome region, candidate 2, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
