CNKSR1 cdna clone
CNKSR1 cDNA Clone
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a protein containing several motifs involved in protein-protein interaction, including PDZ, PH (Pleckstrin homology), and SAM (sterile alpha motif) domains. The encoded protein acts as a scaffold component for receptor tyrosine kinase signaling and may mediate crosstalk between different signaling pathways. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2014]
Uniprot Description
CNK1: a RAF-binding multidomain protein required for RAS signaling. Contains several protein-protein interaction domains. Its PH domain interacts with Rho in a GTP-dependent manner. Associates with Rhophilin and RalGDS, Rho and Ras effector molecules. Two alternatively spliced isoforms have been described.
Protein type: G protein regulator, misc.; Adaptor/scaffold
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1p36.11
Cellular Component: cell cortex; intercellular junction; plasma membrane

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CNKSR1, cDNA Clone" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
