Bovine Interferon-induced GTP-binding protein Mx2 (MX2) ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene has a nuclear and a cytoplasmic form and is a member of both the dynamin family and the family of large GTPases. The nuclear form is localized in a granular pattern in the heterochromatin region beneath the nuclear envelope. A nuclear localization signal (NLS) is present at the amino terminal end of the nuclear form but is lacking in the cytoplasmic form due to use of an alternate translation start codon. This protein is upregulated by interferon-alpha but does not contain the antiviral activity of a similar myxovirus resistance protein 1. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The Bovine MX2 mx2 (Catalog #AAA7219537) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7219537 ELISA Kit recognizes Bovine MX2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interferon-induced GTP-binding protein Mx2 (MX2), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
