Uniprot Description

BMPR1A: a serine/threonine-protein kinase receptor for Bone morphogenetic protein-2 and -4 (BMP-2 and BMP-4). Defects in BMPR1A are a cause of juvenile polyposis syndrome (JPS) and Cowden disease (CD), a cancer syndrome characterized by multiple hamartomas and by a high risk for breast, thyroid and endometriel cancers.

Product Notes

The Bmpr1a bmpr1a (Catalog #AAA950887) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli or Yeast or Baculovirus or Mammalian Cell and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 24-152. The amino acid sequence is listed below: QNLDSML HGTGMKSDLD QKKPENGVTL APEDTLPFLK CYCSGHCPDD AINNTCITNG HCFAIIEEDD QGETTLTSGC MKYEGSDFQC KDSPKAQLRR TIECCRTNLC NQYLQPTLPP VVIGPFFDGS IR. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Bone morphogenetic protein receptor type-1A (Bmpr1a), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
