USP3 blocking peptide

USP3 Antibody (C-term) Blocking Peptide

Gene Names
USP3; UBP; SIH003
Synonyms
USP3; USP3 Antibody (C-term) Blocking Peptide; Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 3; Deubiquitinating enzyme 3; Ubiquitin thioesterase 3; Ubiquitin-specific-processing protease 3; USP3 blocking peptide
Ordering
Specificity
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody was selected from the C-term region of human USP3. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Form/Format
The synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml deionized water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.
Sequence Length
520
Cellular Location
Nucleus. Note: Localizes preferentially with monoubiquitinated H2A to chromatin
Tissue Location
Expressed in all tissues examined, with strongest expression in pancreas
Preparation and Storage
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 degree C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 degree C.
Related Product Information for USP3 blocking peptide
Hydrolase that deubiquitinates monoubiquitinated target proteins such as histone H2A and H2B. Required for proper progression through S phase and subsequent mitotic entry. May regulate the DNA damage response (DDR) checkpoint through deubiquitination of H2A at DNA damage sites. Associates with the chromatin.

Product Notes

The USP3 usp3 (Catalog #AAA9224571) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "USP3, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
