NCBI Description

RNX (HOX11L2, TLX3) belongs to a family of orphan homeobox genes that encode DNA-binding nuclear transcription factors. Members of the HOX11 gene family are characterized by a threonine-47 replacing cytosine in the highly conserved homeodomain (Dear et al., 1993 [PubMed 8099440]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]

Product Notes

The TLX3 tlx3 (Catalog #AAA153847) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's TLX3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Blocking (BL). TLX3 peptide is used for blocking the activity of TLX3 antibody. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37 degree C. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TLX3 tlx3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TLX3, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
